Hi lovelies, happy Mother’s Day to each and every one of you. This day can be difficult for some, extra hugs to you.
Today I’ve got the infamous Lou’s lamb in the slow cooker! Smells totally amazing. Got a leg of lamb, made inscisions all over and popped a piece of garlic and sprig of rosemary in. Added wine, couple of stock cubes, chopped garlic, mint sauce and dried rosemary. Cooking low for 7 hours. Yummy!
I’m also doing rare roasted balsamic beef. That’s been marinating since last night. Recipe for that is over on my cooking FB page.
Serving with cauliflower and broccoli cheese bake, roasted honey buttered parsnips, garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, sausage meat stuffing balls, Yorkshires, lots of veg, minted gravy and horseradish gravy…..followed by millionaire shortcake cheesecake mmmmm!
Perfect Sunday lunch. Got my fantastic mother and father in law over and my big babies, a full day of grown up adult time. Days like this make me feel so blessed. Hubby and I are fortunate to get a few days off together and we are certainly making the most of it. As it’s such a beautiful day a walk in the sunshine is on the cards.
Added some Flipagram today. Been a while! I must get on top of this! Hardest today was what Ed Sheeran song to pick! 😂 hard life! I’d best start writing song choices now for our vow renewal! There are so many that have such sentimental memories for us! Is anyone else the same?
Been reading lots this week, finished baby doll this morning. Gosh what a story. I have given it 5 stars. I loved the writing, it had me gripped from the first page. Just as any good book should do.
Well, I’ve rambled on enough for today! I’ll be back Tuesday with some stampin up news and makes. I’ve put the craft away for the next couple of days, quality time with the hubster instead! Take care and enjoy your day. Make the most of every second 😘
